Other Resources
Check out this amazing film and teaching resources from our colleagues at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF: “To Educate a Girl” and the accompanying teaching resources for grade 6-8 and grade 9-12. To Educate a Girl takes a ground-up and visually stunning view of the effort to provide equal access to education for girls.

"Have you ever been bullied? Do you have enough to eat and somewhere safe to live? You may not know it, but you do have rights. Every child and young person has the same human rights as adults. Learn more about your rights. Knowing about them can change your life."
This is the introduction to a new Web site for Canada's youth to learn about their rights, talk to each other and get help if they need it. UNICEF Canada participated in a partnership to create www.childandyouthrights.net. It features an online magazine, surveys, news, chat and other sources to help our youth understand their rights and find help when they face challenges. The content is honest and tackles hard issues that our most vulnerable youth are dealing with.
The other partners are the national anti-bullying organization PREVNet (an umbrella network of 65 leading Canadian research scientists and 51 national youth-serving organizations), MyHealth Magazine and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
There was also a great article in the Kingston Whig-Standard http://www.thewhig.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2982262 that you can check out.
