The press conference to launched the initiative Municipalité amie des enfants (Child Friendly municipalities) took place on November 20th at the Center of Architecture of Montréal. Marcèle Lamarche, the regional director of UNICEF Quebec office stands with the three mayors from the cities which have been accredited as Child Friendly Cities, and the minister of the family in Québec, Thomas Tomassi and Marc-André Plante director of the CAMF.

On November 29th, more than 100 people attended to the event Toi et moi contre le sida that occurred at the centre des sciences de Montréal. For the second year UNICEF Québec in partnership with Québec YMCA’s invite youths between 13 and 17 to participate to different workshops on VIH and aids. The event have been covered by some provincials and regional’s media.
